HOW TO DEAL WITH TIER 1?
ONE MORE TIME HAVE A LOOK-
FIRST SELECT 2 PAPERS IN WHICH YOU THINK YOU KNOW BETTER THE REST TWO PAPERS. MAKE SURE ONE OF THEM IS MATHS OR ENGLISH.
You have 60 minutes to deal with all 100 questions.
All questions have equal marks. But don't forget there is negative marking too. That is 0.50 marks on each wrong answer you attempt. So take risk carefully.
If you score between 100 to 110 then there is a chance to get select for next level. but scoring more than 140 will be better to be in safe mode (as per last years paper evaluation.)
Actually cutoff depends on the level of paper. If 30 out of 100 questions are difficult then cutoff may be under 90 to 100. There is no subjective wise cutoff as in Bank exams.
The one who scores more than 130 focus on Maths and Reasoning much. These both are scoring and higher accuracy sections.
for example-
If you solve 25+25 maths and reasoning questions and gets 90% accuracy. Then you got 85 marks (90 - 5 negative marks). Now you have to score 25 marks out of 100 to get into next level and 50 out of 100 to get nearby 140. So now 60% accuracy would be enough. That's why I said to select any two paper in which you are strong.
General awareness paper is very much vast as it covers History, Geography, Polity, Science, Economics, Environment, Art and culture, Technology and current affairs. Don't worry I will tell you How to deal with all of them with more output in less time.

General Awareness will have questions on current events, India and its neighboring countries. Also ques. from History. Geography, Economic Scene,Culture, General Policy & Scientific Research are asked. Scientific research includes physics, chemistry and Biology. Current affairs of Last 6 months are asked.

Divisions and Remainders, decimals ,fractions and relationships between numbers. Graphs of Linear Equations, Triangles (centers, congruence, similarity), In circles and cir-cum-circle. Triangle, Quadrilaterals, Regular Polygons. Circle, Right Prism, Right Circular Cone. Right Circular Cylinder, Sphere, Hemispheres, Rectangular Paralleled.
Regular Right Pyramid with triangular or square base, Trigonometric ratio. Degree and Measures, Circle and its chords. tangents, angles subtended by chords of a circle. common tangents to two or more circles, Standard Identities. Complementary angles, Heights and Distances. Histogram, Frequency polygon, Bar diagram & Pie chart.

Decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation. Direction sense test, Blood relations, arithmetical reasoning and figurative classification. Arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding. Statement conclusion, syllogism in reasoning etc. The topics are Semantic Analogy, Symbolic/Number Analogy. Figurative Analogy, Ranking test, Semantic Classification, Symbolic/Number Classification. Figurative Classification, Input-Output, Problem Solving, Word Building, Seating arrangement, Numerical Operations, symbolic Operations. Dies, Clock, Calendar. Trends, Space Orientation, Space Visualization, Venn Diagrams. Drawing inferences, folding & unfolding of Punched hole/pattern. Figurative Pattern – folding and completion, Indexing, Address matching. Date & city matching, Classification of center codes/roll numbers.
